I was born and raised in a small town in Iowa. Growing up, I always had a dream of writing and would sit down and write short stories for myself. I have taken a couple of writing classes in the last few years and have tried my hand at several different types of writing styles. A couple of years ago I submitted a childrens book, just so I could get my first rejection, and yes I did get a very nice rejection letter from Little Golden Books. I was told to get an agent and resubmit the book. I have not done that as I really do not want to be known as a children's Author. Neither do I know what type of genere it is that I want to be known for. I have wrote many short stories on several different topics. For me writing is an entertainment for my mind.
