"Inside the snow globe on my father's desk, there was a penguin wearing a red-and-white-striped scarf. When I was little, my father would pull me into his lap and reach for the snow globe. He would turn it over, letting all the snow collect on the top, then quickly invert it. The two of us watched the snow fall gently around the penguin. The penguin was alone in there, I thought, and I worried for him. When I told my father this, he said,
'Don't worry, Susie; he has a nice life. He's trapped in a perfect world.' "

Well my name is Lindsay. I am 19. I suppose all you really need to know is that I love to write. Usually if I am feeling strongly about something the first thing I can think of is writing about it.
I love being inspired. I love the smell of rain and thunderstorms. I hate narrow-mindedness. I hate being made to feel small. I love music, photography, things which require thought, and I like to know how things work, but nothing too mathematical; although Sudoku I find fun. I hate marmite and liquorice and my eczema at the moment. I don't like losing touch with people. I love to read. I am inspired most by films and books..
