As a poet, Alabaster DePlume has out-grown his highly eclectic and thoroughly enthralling rock band, and turned his attentions towards the furthering of his poetry.
Since around 1998 he has worked in the local music industry of Manchester, being involved with jam nights, musical organisations, band promotion, with unbridled creativity throughout. He now promotes his performance poetry on the local circuit with great vigour, thrilling audiences at Studio Salford's Embryo night at the King's Arms, and Freed Up at the Green Rooms just recently.
He aims to develop and refine his written words, which are bolstered by a distinctive performance technique and character heavily influenced by his many years of music and creativity in various guises.
