I was born to a set of wanderlust parents that dragged me all over the country. I learned writing from my father and art from my mother, and courage from both of them. I started writing when I was 10 years old and used journals to sort out my sad little life. Poetry made me feel like I had a voice when I didn't, it still does. Recently, I have spread my wings and opened my work up for publishing and have done fairly well in the online market for a newcomer. I began branching out to short stories in the last six months and enjoy the challenge of doing something longer and more complete.
