I never considered myself a writer or a poet. I wrote simply because I needed a way to get the thoughts out of my head. Putting them on paper gave me a way to make them expressable, and sometimes even a way to straighten out what was going on as thoughts or ideas ran around making me dizzy. I have never been one to write for the pleasure of the reader. I write because I have a need to express who I am and how I feel. I found lately though that these things, when communicated on paper create an audience of people who relate to it and appreciate the written expression of otherwise incoherent thoughts. So, although my writing is mainly for myself, I hope it is enjoyed thoroughly by those who read it.
