A Brooklyn native, Annamarya Scaccia is a 24-year-old (but going on 60) graduate of Brooklyn College with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. She has served as editor-in-chief of the award-winning campus paper the Kingsman for a year, hard work recognize by two awards: The Solomon H. Halpern award for outstanding contributions to a student paper and the Vanguard Prize for outstanding journalistic accomplishments in defending the First Amendment. Her work as a music journalist/critic has appeared on the websites PopularUnderground.com, AmpCamp.com, Chiefmag.com, as well as in the entertainment newspaper 24/Seven, Alternative Press (altpress.com), Origivation, New York Woman and in Brooklyn College Magazine. She has worked as the book editor for the sex specialty website SexHerald.com and served as an intern for E. Jean Carroll and her Advice Vixens website. In addition to her career as a journalist, she lives and bathes poetry, penning "Destiny of a Tragedy," her first (but definitely not her last) collection of poems and prose from her childhood years to her early 20s. She writes continuously and confesses a little to much for people when it all comes together.
