Born and raised in Upper East Tennessee, I left home in 1982 to attend college (a seminary, actually) in Greenville, SC, where I completed two years before deciding that the ministry was not the route I should take. My love was songwriting and performing and I began my experiences in bands there. I worked as a graphic artist for screen printing companies and sign companies during and after college, and moved back to Tennessee, to Nashville, in the summer of 1986. After three and a half years there, I relocated to Garland, Texas where my involvement in live performance expanded greatly. I have several writing projects underway presently, mostly all being short fiction and I hope to complete a book of short fiction this year and have it published.
