I was born in Lansing, Tennessee. When I was 10, my family followed the work trail to Ohio. My mother and dad were both readers, thus I read most of my growing up years. My first completed novel, which still remains my favorite book, was Little Women. I returned to my roots after many challenges, and raised a son in Tennessee. The old adage, there is no place like home, holds true to this Tennessee girl. There is not, and never will be a place so dear to my heart, as the homeplace I tell you about in Wednesday's Child.
