Beau Roberts was born in a textile mill, deep in the heart of the Berkshire Mountains. His love for nature has been the inspiration for such novels as Land of a Thousand Hills and A Poor Man’s Guide to Hiking the Appalachian Trail. His interests include nature writing, hiking, back packing, and most other outdoor sports. Beau Roberts currently resides in Appalachia with his wife Katie and their two children.
