I've been writing for many years now, though seriously for only about the past four. I've tried to hammer several novel ideas out in the past, but most of them have ended in failure. My current project is a sci-fi/utopian thriller that I really think could go places if I work at it and find a good reviewer.
My main purpose for joining is, really, I want to get some exposure and feedback for some of my work, which I would like to get published one day.
That said, I absolutely love a good political thriller or a utopian nightmare - anything pschological or thought-provoking, really. Philosophies and ideas are a fascination of mine that I try to embody in my work.
Oh, and George Orwell is a genius.
