Like many I'm a self-taught writer, but learned early on that in order to be a rule-breaker (as I fancied myself to be from the outset) that I needed to learn the rules.
So that's basically where I am now: learning the rules, while also learning new and exciting ways of playing with words and expressing myself.
I'm a published author. And I've been published under the name of Rachel St. Patrick-Davy and R. J. St. Patrick, both variations of my English name. Then I decided (even though my family was certain I wouldn't get anywhere using my true name, my Native one) have come back to myself as Blackbirdsong.
I have very nice teeth. So feel free to smile, I'm a fairly nice person.
