Brian New's favourite writers are Ondaatje, Woolf, Dostoevsky, Greene, Forster, Nothomb, Hesse and Beckett. He is presently studying for his doctorate at Norwich, and works as a projectionist. He is seldom able to finish writing a story, and marks doing so as a special achievement. He lives with his fiancée, and enjoys listening to stories, most of all, with her.
