Born in Colorado in 1969, my family moved to Massachusettes when I was two years old. At ten, we moved to Colorado and seventeen to North Carolina. At the age of nineteen, I again moved with my parents, but this time to Long Island, NY where we (miraculously) have remained ever since. It is nearly twenty years now.
One might wonder if my father was in the military. I get that question frequently, but no, he was not.
However, two elementary schools, three high schools and two colleges have been an interesting psychological journey. Over the course of my thirty-seven years, I have gained an indepth understanding of myself and aspects of the world that others might not have without such experiences. As such, I have felt compelled to pass on this knowledge to others. Sometimes it comes in the form of helping family, friends and strangers and sometimes through writing the emotional substance of my experiences.
Whatever the forum, I have gotten much pleasure from passing elements of my journey on to others and the rewards of change as I watch the many caterpillars transform into butterflies.
