I've been writing poetry since I learned to write. My first award was for 2nd place in a poetry contest - I was 11 years old. I have two poems published so far in "Twighlight Musings" and "The Best Poems and Poets of 2005" One was also recorded in a "Sounds of Poetry" - My poetry is extremely personal. It's my version of a diary. Sometimes the poems just seem to fight to get out! My favorite thing is to hear from others the story they hear when reading a poem I've written. Like a song, there are many twists and turns in the mind of the reader...I love to hear what personal journey it takes them on. I have an extreme love of music, I'm working currently on becoming a radio DJ. I guess I'm not what most expect a poet to look like or be like... Surprise! The best feeling in the world is when someone is touched by one of my poems. It makes sharing those previously secret, private thoughts all worth while.
