I have been a creative writer for 7 years but was previously not interested in writing for the public or for money. Recently I have become a partner in a bookstore and an apprentice to a writer/poet. I have begun to sharpen my writing skills (punctuation and revising) and occasionally write book reviews for a local paper.
I am a mother of 2 boys and find them often to be the characters in my writings. I have been happily married for 8 years and my husband encourages all my talents, whether they are good and not so good.
I am a recovering alcoholic/drugatic and have been sober for just over 2 years. I am involved in the support group Celebrate Recovery and have found my most precious hero, Jesus.
I am excited to see what other writers think about my writing and anticipate great constructive criticism.
