I am a retired Management Consultant who specialised in Small Firms Development and Personal Development and in Equal Opportunities. I worked with enterprises like Burtons, Laura Ashley, Littlewoods, Levis and other major companies and travelled the UK, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and northern Europe. In 1984 I founded Women in Enterprise, a national charitable organisation in the U.K I was Chairperson of WE until my retirement in 1989 and was nominated for the Yorkshire Woman of the Year Award.
Now I am a freelance journalist and author of short stories and have found some success in this new field - although in my previous life I did edit Women in Enterprise magazine and published a great many articles on my specialist subjects!
