I'm Deome. That's one name only--no first name, or last name, depending on how you look at it. I'm 24, and while I've lived all over the Pacific Northwest, Olympia was always and now is home to me. I'm a writer currently in the process of writing something worth publishing.
Most of what I have to write about is drawn from my experience of growing up as a gutterpunk in the Olympia/Seattle/Portland underground, although I also write about my 2-year love affair with the Seattle/Portland rave explosion of the late 90's. I also blog most of my random thoughts as well as the crazy shit that happens to me (or more usually, the crazy shit I do myself).
Ever hear of that ancient Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times"? Consider that context when I say I live an interesting life. That's what drove me to writing, of course. I have so many true stories of "interesting" things that happened in my life that when I tell friends about them, they keep telling me I need to write a book. Of course, that's a book I haven't even started, but just might simply because it'd be easier writing a series of short stories than an actual novel (concerned with plot, theme, character development, etc., as novels usually are). Oh well, it'll get done sometime.
Trust that my writing--whatever else it is--is not boring. Beyond that, the only way to describe it is by your own reaction to it. (That's how I know it MUST be art!)
