I grew up telling myself stories. Once in school, I discovered that if I wrote the stories down, I could tell stories to others. I'd like to say that I've been writing ever since, but that isn't much the truth. I gave up on writing for a good many years due to some misguided notion that I needed to do something more down to earth. Now that I'm nearing thirty and have held down a series of increasingly unfulfilling jobs, I've returned to the craft. I'm not talented enough to bank on talent alone, and so I've devoted myself to writing full time. Perhaps hard work can fill in the gaps.
