Hello. I was born in San Diego,California, and have lived here for all but 13 years of my life. I have 3 grown "kids", lots of wonderful family and friends, and a best friend that is younger than my youngest son.
I am a Registered Clinical Dietitian and work in a Hospital. I am also a certified personal trainer and have a budding business on the side that involves healthy weight management, and nutrition and fitness education.
I love the ocean, nature, reading,writing, good people and life in general. I play the piano and am working on a Nutritionally Fit cookbook to go with my health program.
I first wanted to write a book at 8 years of age and have written a lot of nonfiction, and published some. I first took up fiction writing about 10 years ago and love it. Have many ideas for books, mainstream, mystery and other genres, but am taking a writing workshop to help get one particular book going. I welcome comments both good and constructive critics; and look forward to more interaction with members and readers on site.
