I'm a guy who wants his job to be writing tales, yarns, novels, and graphic novels and an occasional poem. I like the adventure, pulp, fantasy, horror, and hardboiled genres. I enjoy big words and short sentences. I have an angelic wife who puts up with a writer's idiosyncrasies. I have two cats but only one of them has shown any interest in my writing. I grew up in the American South; the son of a Baptist preacher and an English Teacher. I moved to Illinois in 2003 to be closer to the girl I loved and then married her in 2006. I have had many jobs and titles but writing is where I have put my hopes.
