My name is Shola, I'm 20 years old. I'm young, Im an aspiring writer, with a message to share with the world. Each day is a struggle, but I live life with no regreats.
I'm a writer. Im a thinker. I hate arguing but I love debating, I love laughing. Im a very serious person, ha but also one of the funniest people I know. I love sharing my ideas with others and in turn I love hearing what others have to say.
I could say "im different, im unique" but what's different? what's unique? we're all different. I am who I say I am, nothing more, nothing less. Im not perfect, in fact im far from it. Im perfectly flawed. I don't fall for the regular bull. I am a rather complicated person, theres a lot to me; often misunderstood, but honestly who cares? what do I have to prove? Nothing is real until I have experienced it to be real. I tend to be bitter at times. People dissapoint me but at the same time I dissapoint myself. I dont agree with a lot of what goes on in this world, and I despise the ignorance of those who walk its streets, but most of all I despise the fact that im not doing more to better the situation. I respect those who deserve it.
I know that this life is not certain, the only thing that is certain is that we all will one day die, and you will not begin to truly live until you have come to realize this. I've come to accept this fate and will live my life the best that I possibly can; taking chances, keeping a relatively open mind and trying to see life through as many eyes as I possibly can. For that is what it truly means to live, to walk in new places and see with new eyes. In order to find yourself you must see outside yourself.

This world is temporary and this life I have is also temporary therefore I want to make the most out of the time I am givien. I refuse to become another wasted youth. We are living amongst a dead generation, a society filled with mindless, money driven, corrupt beings, and I refuse to take part. Our values are meaningless. We are spoiled and want everything fed to us. We are fools and we soak everything in. We live under the assumption that if we follow the laws, be "good," stay in our place, then we will be rewarded in the afterlife. All of this is nonsense. Stop waiting to be rewarded, stop praying for things to happen, stop letting people walk on you, stop accepting the fact that you are lower then someone else. Make the rewards happen now, make things happen for yourself instead of carying around all of these false hopes and ideas that someone or some higher being is going to reward you, save you. Your life is yours and yours alone; you are the one who decides the outcome. In the end when it comes to matters dealing with your life, you are the only one that matters because you are the only one who is going to be affected. Trust in yourself, believe in yourself,live for yourself and you will be saved.

The moment you start thinking and living for yourself, is the moment you start to see change. Stop thinking as your shortcomings in life as failures. Perfection is a hard thing to grasp, why not work with what you have and make the best out of what you've been given

In this world, at this time questioning is key. Question, Question, Question, You can never ask enough questions, but I am a firm believer that we all hold the answers to all the questions we ever need to know. We just have to open our minds to that undiscovered truth, whatever truth may be.
An ancient teacher has said:
Two-thirds of our days are already over,
And we have not practiced clarifying who we are
We waste our days in chasing satisfaction,
So that even when called, we refuse to turn around.

I live a StraightEdge life, a life free from intoxicants,no drugs,no alcohol,no promiscuos sex. Polluting your mind and body with such substances can only lead to weakness, and im here to achieve greatness.
I also believe in the purification of the body, detoxification. I follow a vegan diet, I do not consume any animal products. We must learn to respect all life. We simply share this Earth with other animals and organisms. We do not own it and as far as i'm concerned we do not have any right to inflict any unnecessary harm on the species we share this planet with.
