Born in the Philippine Islands, age 33, 5'8", weight 155, on June 28, 1974. After graduating New Castle Senior High School joined the U. S. Marine Corps. I served for 4 years active and 4 active reserves. I currently work as a floor technician.
I would like to finish my book "The Eternal Sleep", the prologue was written when I was 13 years old. I'd just like to finish the book, once and for all. In addition, write my unique style with my other verses. On the way meet new friends. I mean real profiles with the real you. Just posting my work for publishing. So, if you are just interested in being friends. I welcome you. If your into reading, then read. If your a publisher and believe I have what your looking for in a writer, let me know.
I'm a writer, so, here goes with my verses. Plus, I've added Filipino American Dream, in lyrical style. I've always been accused of writing too deep. So, here's a way to understand me in every aspect of the words, both sides of Glen a.k.a Filipino American Dream. A challenge to write in a new style altogether, everything goes in Filipino American Dream. The absolute me, try and follow me, no xerox is ever going to be me.
I've got the talent and going to spread my words to the masses. Everyone whoever dreams, dreams because there is that option to be successful. Either way the words will live with or without me. I'm me "Glen" not the carbon copy. Sorry, for the wait. I've been in limbo for a long while, nothing will stop the words. Catch me if you can like the movie. The words will flow like the sea. The water of my words to share and leave a watermark to this world. A world, I'm going to leave just not today, peace.

a.k.a. Filipino American Dream
I pledge allegiance
to the what?
Let’s try that again.
I pledge allegiance to the flag.
Do you know who the president is?
“George”
“George”
George W. Bush.
Do you know what the 50 stars stand for on the flag?
50 cents.
No, he’s a rapper.
50 states.
Amazing, how we tolerate
try not to discriminate
those who become us
a citizen.
I’m just one voice,
one vote.
I’m just a Filipino American Dream.
I remember coming here at the age of 6
came to this country all in the mix.
I could not speak,
could not understand.
I knew 2 words.
A yes and a no.
I was different
looking back at that moment.
Feeling I came here for a reason.
Amazing, I’m writing these words.
How this rhyme becomes my season.
I use to look at the dictionary
started learning from A to Z.
Just when all seems to conquer you?
I kept believing,
believing what is true.
I’m just a Filipino American Dream.
I’d pay back the gratitude,
got what was coming an attitude.
My family told me
I could not be
the few,
the proud,
the marines.
I’d join the U.S.M.C.
Wear the color
become the many a valor.
Amazing, separation secludes you.
I’d meet my father,
my mother
on graduation day.
First, time I’ve seen my father in years,
boot camp was well worth the tears.
I’m just a Filipino American Dream.
Amazing, how these words
keep flowing,
keep following.
Now, I can share them with you.
Amazing, how this all started
with a dictionary,
learning from A to Z.
Education became my key.
I learned to tolerate
not to discriminate.
I’m just a Filipino American Dream.
