Gwyn McVay is the author of two chapbooks of poems, Brother Ikon (Inkstone Press) and This Natural History (Pecan Grove Press). Her first full-length collection, Ordinary Beans, is forthcoming from Pecan Grove Press in March 2007. Her poems have appeared in three anthologies and over two dozen journals, including Prairie Schooner, Ploughshares, Exquisite Corpse, New American Writing, Tikkun, Boulevard, and Sulfur. A brief prose memoir appears in the anthology That Takes Ovaries!: Bold Females and Their Brazen Acts.
