If it weren't for my writing, I'd have no reason at all to have any interest in waking from my wonderful dreams, which are the inspiration for most of my works.
Suffering from a young adulthood of deep depression, and quite frustrating O.C.D., I was forced to drop out of high school, and became very acquainted with the realms of my own mind, both the good and the bad.
I discovered that the best way to make sense of the darkness, and find joy in the light, was to weave the various worlds of my stories, which I've been doing for over twelve years now. Heh, thirteen, if I want to be more exact.
Going on to finish my G.E.D., I discovered, coming out of my dark place, the true joy that writing brought me, and my efforts began anew. I have not forgotten my time in the shadows, and feel that my work is far better for this remembering, but don't think for a moment that my efforts are all doom and gloom. In a great deal, it's the gloom and doom we face in all our lives, in some amount, but also the hope and love that can come of this time.
I am a writer. Whether my name is every known, whether my work is ever known, its in my blood and in my breath. My love for this act of word-weaving will never change.
