Jim here. Thanks for dropping in...
I write mostly first-person essay, true life accounts of a slightly debacherous life. Some stories are sad, some are sexy, most are drenched with booze, and all are lively reads.
Been published in magazines and newspapers: "Modern Drunkard Magazine", "Tu Ciudad", "Gallery", "Hispanic" (2x), "LA Times", "LA Alternative"(6X), "Rough Guide", "Gadfly", "Fear","Soma", "LA Weekly". "The Arts District Citizen".
"Flux" magazine, an arts & culture magazine out of London will be publishing a piece this summer that I did on Los Angeles-based artist Emmeric Konrad.
In addition, I have been named the senior columnist for the "Arts District Citizen", a monthly magazine that covers the art scene here in downtown LA.
I've also taken the plunge into self-publishing books. FIVE out now: "East L.A. Collage", "L.A Bitch!" & "L.A. Bitch II: The Second Coming!", "A Syringe Full Of Loyalty" & "L.A. Bitch III: The Writer Strikes Back". Outrageous offerings about my hometown of Los Angeles.

I'm placing the books in shops too: "TOWER Records" in locations throughout Southern california, along with two dozen other galleries and coffeeshops in the L.A. area.
Also added "Shakespeare & Company" in Paris, France, "Perihelion Gallery", Phoenix, Arizona, "The Hive Gallery" Downtown Los Angeles, "Ghetto Gloss Gallery", Silverlake, "Blue Chips", Highland Park, "Antigua Coffee", El Sereno, "Martinez Books", Lynwood.
AND THIS JUST IN: "CITY LIGHTS BOOKS" in San Francisco has placed my books on their shelves as well.
I'm a Scorpio, very straight, I love to backpack in Europe, I love football, big World Cup attendee ('94 States,'98 paris, '02 Korea), and I just got back from 4 glorious & wicked weeks in Germany for World Cup 2006. FUCK YES!
