I am an aspiring author, a science fiction fanatic, and a university engineering student. I love to read all genres, but the great science fiction masters (Isaac Asimov, Frank Herbert, Arthur C. Clarke, etc.) are my favorites, and in a way my absentee mentors. I've never met any of them, obviously, but I've learned a lot from reading their works.
I've never been published though I have written quite a lot. I have three or four presentable short stories under my belt (only one posted at the moment but others are available on request), and I've just passed the 50,000 word mark on my first novel. I'm hoping to have that book finished before I turn 19.
