In my short life I have accomplished almost nil. I would like to have a career in writing someday. If just to return the joy that other writers have given me. I would like my stories and poems to be the escape from the dull, depressing and ruthless world we live in.
I would like to picture someone sitting down to read something I have written with excited anticipation. Knowing the escape from the stress of the day is only a few moments away.
I appreciate critiques on any and all of my work. I know sometimes it looks like I don't use the advice given in them. But I either haven't read them yet, as I am very busy. Or I have decided to scrap the whole piece and start anew. But I keep the old work up so that I can reread the comments to make sure I don't repeat mistakes.
