I am 35 and have been writing for over half of my life. My first publication was at the ripe old age of 9 when my 4th grade teacher submitted "My Favorite Color Is Pink" to a local paper. I reside in Connecticut with my husband, two daughters, two cats, 10 tropical fish, two frogs, and 20 tropical plants. The apartment can get quite crowded from time to time, but it's a house filled with love.
My writing has taken me on many adventures in life and I've received much recognition and awards for my achievements in poetry and prose. I was nominated as one of the "Best Poets of the 90's" and have been named as a top-selling creator for my books on the syndrome Fibromyalgia.

The Fibro Hand
After being diagnosed in late 2005, I started a search for information on Fibromyalgia. It was hard to find a lot out there. All I wanted was some straight talk and an inspiring point of view. I wrote "The Fibro Hand" as my antidote for this chronic disease.
