Bio: Kurt McGinnis Brown has published stories in Glimmer Train, Denver Quarterly, New Letters, American Literary Review and other national journals and e-zines. Awards include first prize in the Academy of American Poetsâ?? Award for Fiction and in the New Letters Literary Awards. His novel Why Itâ??s Not Forever was twice a finalist in the James Fellowship for the Novel.
As communications director at an international research center, Kurt has traveled and worked in El Salvador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Peru, Russia, and St. Lucia. His latest novel, A Manâ??s Part, explores whether a man can differentiate between love and the shape of a womanâ??s body. His most recent completed work is a play about love in the theater called Trouble with True.
