The Lower Widdecombe Pensioners Reading group constitutes a warm and friendly weekly gathering where members are encouraged to pull apart a literary classic in order to extract the glistening maws of creativity contained therein.
Any readers desirous of joining our open and friendly discussion sessions need do no more than attend our regular Tuesday evening get-together in the church hall on Puddinghole Lane. The session starts at 7.30pm sharp, where wide -ranging literary discussion is closely followed by the ritual slaughter of goats. Tea and biscuits round the evening off.
