I've just established a 501c3 group-The Hampton Roads Writers of which I am the president of the Board of Directors. My goal with this group is the creation and implemenation of affordable writing classes for Hampton Roads (Virginia) writers at all levels. I also would like to promote local writers who are just starting out in the business. I also hope to establish an annual, high quality, writers' conference in Virginia Beach.

I won NFG's 4th Great-69er contest in 2004.
