Lauren Lion is writer of literary science fiction and general fiction from Northern California. She has been published as a poet and as a journalist under a separate pen name. Her goal in life is to become a published fiction author, and to sustain herself enough from that to not have to work another secretarial job.
She also runs a science fiction writing group called SFWORD Group that meets bi-monthly in the San Francisco Bay Area. Writers of science fiction and people who just like to read science fiction are welcome to join, even if they are not from the bay area: they can become part of the online community! She hopes they will check out SFWORDGROUP.COM to find out what they are about. They may hold a science fiction party complete with readings, "science fiction music," and copies of a potential anthology of their work!
Of course she has other artistic outlets, as well. She paints and draws--especially album covers, she acts, sings, makes photos, movies, and attempts to explore any creative field she has the opportunity to get into. As a music artist, she takes on the name of "The Lost Missouri Letters" and except for occasional guests, she plays all the instruments and and writes all of the lyrics and music.
