My name is Lindsay Osborne and I am 22 years old. I was raised in Woburn, MA about 10 minutes north of Boston. I started writing poetry and short stories at the age of 9. When I was 15 I started writing poetry on a daily basis and found that my best work came from being inspired by the city. I would go to work with my father who was a police officer in Cambridge, MA and sit in his cruiser by the Charles River with a note pad and pen all day long. When my father retired in 2002 I was completely lost, I got a bad case of writers block and put down my pen for years. So about 4 years ago I got the chance to move to New Bedford with my fiance, a big city in Massachusetts and I had to take it. Since that move I have been writing more than ever before. Also, I am currently working on a non-fiction book about homelessness and drug abuse, which is based on my life. I really cannot explain how much I love to write poetry, it's my favorite thing to do. I write so much of it that a lot of the time I think in rhymes...crazy? I love having my work critiqued so feel free. If anyone wants to contact me for any reason, my AIM SN is VilleSidePride.
