A quarterly magazine based in Vancouver, whose mandate is to publish the best in contemporary writing and translation from Canada and around the world. Started in 1959, it is the oldest literary magazine in Western Canada. Its archives are a Who's Who of modern and contemporary literature. It welcomes writing from both established and unknown writers, from Canada and from around the world. Send original, unpublished material in English. Do not consider multiple submissions or work that has already appeared on the Internet, unless it has only been posted to writersâ?? forums for discussion.
