1) Review: Accepting and rejecting of submissions:
Beginning 2007, Barfing Frog Press will be published quarterly, meaning
approximately March, June, September, December. Publishing will occur (give
or take a day) on the 15th of each publishing month.
We will only accept submissions from authors who are 18 years of age and over.
2) Short Stories
We prefer to publish stories that have NOT been previously published, but may publish already published stories after a fair amount of whining.
Word Length: From 100 words to 2,000 words
Genres: Most. When in doubt view our perpetual issue.
How many stories to submit: 1 to 3. No more than 3, 000 words total per submission.
Save stories in MS Word and send as attachments.
3) Short Articles (Non-Fiction):
We prefer to publish articles that have NOT been previously published, but may publish already published articles after a fair amount of whining.
Word Length: 500 to 2,000 words.
How many articles to submit: 1 to 3. No more than 3, 000 words total per submission.
Save stories in MS Word and send as attachments.
5) Multiple Authors, Authorship etc...
bullet If you haven't written a story/article yourself, DO NOT send it to us.
bullet We no longer accept submissions from multiple authors.
6) PAYMENT
We do not pay in cash or merchandise but in the sublime joys inherent in joining the legion of Barfing Frog Press contributors, a most absurd and unthinkable congregation of nonconformists.
7) COPYRIGHT
The individual stories/articles remain the intellectual property of the writer. The length of time that the stories/articles remain on the web is to be determined by Barfing Frog Press.
