I am a writer at One Stop Write Shop, so I can publish all of my writing at one site, receive feedback on my manuscripts, poems, and short stories. There are writing contest and writers workshops that can be entered for free. They even have free memberships for everyone, which is nice because when a writer wins a member hosted contest, they win real awards like ribbons, cash and virtual money.
One Stop Write Shop opened in August of 2007. Since that time they have received over 296,000 hits! Which means, if you are a writer or artist and want your work to be read, signing up for a free membership could prove extremely beneficial.
The website opened to help new writers get their work noticed, while at the same time offer them a place to receive feedback and a way to earn cash. The OSWS store is now being developed by Genesis Web Studio, members will have the unique opportunity to buy and sell their merchandise in this store. If you have a Serious Writer Membership account, you don't have to pay a list fee.
Publish your poems, short stories, novel chapters and screen plays, enroll in a writing class or submit your work to numerous writing competitions for your chance to win cash, ribbons or tokens that can be used to buy products in the store.
This is truly a one of a kind online writing community.
