Okie dokie, so read my profile again just for the fun of it and realised that it was bloody boring and said little about me - and writers are usually interesting people. So, deciding I wasn't doing myself any justice, I'm sorting it.
Grew up in Belfast as close to the celebrity circle as you can get without remembering that - in the grand scheme of things - Belfast has no real celebrities, (Save Bestie but well...ya know.) For years I lived in the cyclonic wash that was the home I shared with my somewhat volatile parents and the long stream of cats who either ran away, died or were gotten rid of by parents who couldn't stand the smell and the fleas.
At the minute I'm residing in England, where I live in a never ending atmosphere of jokes about a) the Potato Famine, b) alcoholism or c) innate terrorism. We do, however, share a great love of tea so despite the jokes, everyone over in Norwich is ok by me.
I'm slowly realising that being a student is a great thing if you're looking to become a writer because not only does it educate you as to the fact that people are bastards and the worst thing that could happen, will happen but also because it gets you used to the abject poverty and the precarious living arrangements, which no doubt will be a lifestyle you'll have to become accustomed to.
Atm I remain hopeful that I may yet be a success and failing that, that my other half makes it big and I get to live and write off the proceeds.
In five words I would say I'm - cynical, dark, wry but still sweet and in my own way niave. My favourite colour is Purple and I'm a leo. If you don't send this to twelve people by midnight a ghost will eat you.
Peace out.
