Lucy Lives in Cornwall with her husband Kevin and 2 children. She has written poetry of one sort or another since she can remember. Her maternal grandfather also worte poetry; and on her paternal side, her family has been traced back to Robert Burns, so there is a little bit of a family history where poetry is concerned. Lucy is a bit of a traditionalist, she makes and teaches the making of Corn dollies, loves and plays traditional music and dance and is a member of Cornwall Songwriters, a group of people living in Cornwall, writing in the traditional idiom, with whom she co-wrote 'UNSUNG HEROES - The Lost Gardeners of Heligan' a musical docu-drama based on the story of the Gardeners of Heligan who went away to war and never came back. The show has an accompanying CD and Book of the same name.
