Kimberly Brittingham is a frequent contributor to Fresh Yarn (www.freshyarn.com) and an excerpt from her memoir-in-progress, "Parking Backwards", earned her a spot as a finalist in The Memoirists Collective's "Win a Shot at Getting Your Memoir Published!" contest in the summer of 2006 (see www.memoiristscollective.com). She has since become an invited regular "guest blogger" on The Memoirists Collective's My Space page at www.myspace.com/thememoiristscollective. Brittingham divides her days working on her memoir manuscript at The Writer's Room in New York City (www.writersroom.org) and working as a non-fiction ghostwriter for private clients.
