Inspired to write from an early age, I grew up in rural Jamaica where life was basically simple and fun... no inhibitions, just tranquil and free. I grew more and more in love with the power of words and expressing myself and my thoughts on life through my eyes. I continued to write, striving to be better every time I sit down in front of my computer or grap my journal to make a note. I am now 23 years old, and still every day I continue to grow, appreciating life more and more and eager to expand my world. I write from the heart. Most of my poems are my own opinions, expressed in a captivating way. Capturing the sanity and insanity of our society as seen in my eyes. I want to reach people through a different dimension; a poetic dimension. Alluring them in a world of words and truth, loving life, yet accepting it for what it is. Get to know me through my poetry.
