I have been writing since I was in grade school, but always sporadically due to family responsibilities. I placed these responsibilities before everything else, until now. I am, at last, free to market my work on a steady basis. I've decided to start here. I know the markets have changed since I submitted a novel for publication more than 25 years ago. There is a market out there that needs my work.
I have a bachelor's degree in psychology, and Spanish. I have worked as an instructor in elementary, middle school, high school, and a business college.
During this time I wrote several novels, which I now need to revise, and some short stories and poetry. These too need revision. Only a few have reached the final stage.
I am looking forward to realizing my life's dream, being a published writer.
Below, you will find the first story I am putting up for comment. Please be honest in your comments. This is not my very best work. I am posting it so I can find and correct my weak points more efficiently. Thank you and God Bless you!
