I get "you're a really nice person" a lot. In reality, and for those who know me best, there's a bitter, tiny self-loathing world hater lurking just beneath the surface and waiting to pounce on anyone or anything that just happens to hit me at that exact spot during the day when I just can't take anymore. I just happen to smile while I'm doing it.
I really am a nice person.
And a little bit of a bitter hater.
Hey, it's a dichotomy I've learned to live with.
