Matthew Abuelo is an up and coming New York poet and freelance writer. He has won numerous awards. Over the past few years he has made a name for himself as an anti-war/activist poet who was banned from a coffee house on Long Island for expressing discontent with the war in Iraq in 2003. He has also appeared on MNN, Manhattan Neighborhood Network) Mr. Abuelo has published a collection of his work under the title "Last American Roar" which can be purchased both here and at lulu.com.
