A (self-regarding) child of the 80's, Marcus Keeley was born in Belfast in 1989. Around the beginning of 2006 while leafing through some classic poetry, Marcus began writing. Almost immediately following that, he attended the first launch night of Make Yourself Heard. Awed and inspired from the poetry and the faces behind the words, he began and continues to develop his own performance. He has appeared in Speech Therapy, Secret Attic and on Poetcasting.co.uk. He regularly attends and (maybe if you're lucky) reads at Make Yourself Heard and Bookfinders; two well-known poetry performance gigs in Belfast.
