Poet, Writer, Editor
I've been writing since someone first put a pencil in my hand. The need to write for me goes beyond compulsion, as though sometimes it's a necessity. I write mostly poetry, short stories and essays, but anything from screenplays to journalistic pieces can meet my fancy from day to day. I write in many genres as well -- but in my opinion: the more bizarre, the better. I've studied to be an editor at college and have a creepy sense of grammatical knowledge which at times I despise and go about doing my best to break the rules, especially with experimental writing. Many writers have inspired me over the years and have always challenged me to keep trying new styles and genres to keep my ideas fresh.
