Born in the USSR, raised in Lebanon, living in France, writing in English. Highly and admittedly influenced by Aleister Crowley, James Joyce, Malcolm Lowry, and their ilk. Self-published the first part of the Mortephilian Trilogy, yclept "Mother, listen to me, I want to die", being a collection of seven short stories revolving around a teenager who is struggling to become a Writer against an insanely oppressive family and society (in Lebanon) who see that "writing was good in the 19th century; today you have to be a doctor, engineer, lawyer, or you can't live, can't get bread on your table". Currently working on Part II of the Trilogy, titled "I can see more clearly now, thank you, good bye", which takes place in time after the teenager grows up and breaks off from family and country, friendships and loves, and plunges himself into a death-like state of self-imposed solitary confinement to focus on being alive through his Art, being Himself - i.e., a Writer.
