NightWindSailor is a ... night wind sailor who has sailed in ocean regattas with and without crew.
I have been writing since winning the John F. Kennedy Poetry Award in high school, and am a published author of poetry, short stories and technical papers. The sea is a recurring theme in my writings.
I have recently completed my first speculative fiction novel, "Gift of Power." The most challenging part of the book was describing it in one sentence: "A forbidden relationship develops when a human man and a surviving Mer woman struggle against alien Gar for control of humanity's gift of power." I've posted both the prologue and first chapter to Gift of Power on Editred.
