I've always loved writing. I used to write a lot of boyish action tosh when I was a kid. There was a bit of angst-sodden "I hate everything" dithering in my late teens mainly in poetry and then a pretty barren period in my 20's when I hardly wrote a thing. I did an English degree later and loved the whole Creative Writing side of things. I've just finished a Creative Writing evening course which was great as it forced me to write and gave me the almighty kick up the arse I needed. As a result I've just embarked on the whole mindblowingly exciting but ultimately quite terrifying processs of writing what I hope is my first novel.
