The main aspects of my being consist of the following three things 1. I am a Mother 2. I am Dominican 3. I am a Poet...all other elements of my existence fall at the feet of this trinity and rises because of it. I have been writing poetry since I was about 10 years old and I must say that through the years I've come to learn that writing is really the only thing that allows me to become one with my thoughts and emotions. I am a firm believer in the ying yang of Love and Life and how different levels of one affects the other yet finds a way to balance out thus creating a range of emotions that always remain entwined with one another...because of this belief I must say that all of my poetry although different and each with its own touch they all fall under the same category...LIFE
