Born in Adelaide, SA, I spent most of my formative years in Launceston, Tas, and have been writing abstract poetry since the age of 12. Living in poverty on the streets in my teenage years, I came to know the meaning of hardship, with both my children born before I reached the age of 20. I was diagnosed with terminal cancer at age 21. Since my battle with cancer began, the written word has served me as a powerful medium for healing. Through writing, I seek to add spiritual depth to my life experiences. I hope to share this inward journey with others.
